FULL NAME:Miryam Saffron Marie Sauveterre
NICKNAME(S): N/A
AGE: Appears to be in her late twenties (2700+)
BIRTHDAY: October-November sometime
BIRTHPLACE: In what is now to be considered France.

SEXUALITY: It's a mystery.
FACE CLAIM: Andreea Diaconu
LIKES
DISLIKES
MAGIK: Water Manipulation – Wings and flight
DESCRIPTION: As a demon she has the ability to wield the element of water, though she more easily connects to fresh water found in rivers, lakes and streams rather than the ocean. Her ability strength wise is more connected to her emotional response as she's never really practiced with the element much in the way of fighting , most of its use comes from her instinct rather than actually planned out attacking.
Her wings are tattooed on her back with dark ink appearing in the style of Celtic knot shapes rather than actual feathers with a slight blue tinge to the black feathers when hit by the light.
DIVINE WEAPON: N/A -- Her son Leo wields it now.
PHYSICAL AILMENTS: N/A
WEAKNESSES: Her heart is too big, it leaves her with a lot of open spaces in which people can worm into her life. She seems to be, or at least appears to be constantly tired and could probably fall asleep on any vaguely horizontal surface like a cat. Marie however, seems to have a natural sarcasm about her nature, often times confused for a sort of bitterness about certain things. She has a natural want to help others, just a need to care and fuss especially if people are hurting
STRENGTHS: Despite being a demon she is still strongly affiliated with the role of caregiver. Her natural tenacity is only aided by her natural combat skill as she is never one to give up easily. She cooks often and well and anyone under her protection will never be without food, even if they deny her offers she's the sort of person to not take no for an answer. As a water magic user she's also got some minor healing abilities though nothing as good as going to an actual hospital. She also sings rather well though seems to stick to singing the lullabies of her homeland, a language long forgotten.
PERSONALITY:
FATHER: Orsin
MOTHER: Analeigh
SIBLINGS: Several, she had a rather large family.
SPOUSE(S): Ex-Husband -Michael-- and several other's after that.
OFFSPRING: Leonidas 'Leo' Saffron – though there are others.
OTHERS: A mutt dog named Hawke. A cat named Mr. Peters and a Cockatoo rescue.
The vampire that tried to take her son still sort of follows her around from time to time and it creeps her out. It's unhealthy.

PERSONALITY:
A demon though you'd never know it by looking at her, she keeps to herself mostly, a calm seeming woman though inwardly she is a rather restless spirit. Perhaps it was this that made it so easy for her to defect to the other side though. She is naturally argumentative though and rather quick to form opinions or make decisions on something and it takes a great deal to make her change her mind. Though she comes off as being rather sweet, and even sometimes mistake for being naive with how quick she is to help others. Marie is the sort of person easily regarded as 'everyone's mother' constantly looking after people despite them not needing her to. Around others she is naturally distrustful of people's motives, and prefers to keep her distance from the war raging around her preferring the company of humans and animals rather than her fellow angels and demons. Her natural tendency to be sarcastic causes rifts more often than she likes between the people she cares about.

HISTORY:
ALIAS: HaverdashumShe was born in a land known to the Romans as the Gaul, the lands of what is today known as France. Their life here was peaceful, that was until the Iron Age of 700 BC began to thrust them into the future. She lived in one of the larger villages, a mix of humans and angels though they are not important to this tale. In fact, in these lands where small villages were quite common it would seem that the vampires held more grip over these territories than any angel or demon. These were the wild lands, and things were different here. The vampires, with their outright hatred for the angels that had begun to plague their lands and turn the humans against them had begun to strike back in kind.
It wasn't until Julius Ceaser that their world would be thrust into the war. The empire of Rome, and the angels who spent their time there would certainly be in shock when it came to the Celts. And young Miryam would be no exception to the rule. With her mother's weapon in her hands there would be no stopping her in the fight against Rome. The conquest of the Gual in around 120 B.C. was not something that could have been stopped by one lone warrior. The angels, brethren not left to fend for themselves in the wilds were gathering under the banner of Rome in an attempt to unify their ranks.
How she met Michael was not some story of romance. In all honesty their history probably would be best forgotten. If time had not brought them together things would be different. But there were worse decisions to be made. A marriage was arranged by her parents, though not entirely thrilled with the idea themselves. She should have taken one of the other suitors, to be the wife of the Archangel Michael, seemed to be a bit much. Michael wouldn't have been the first gentleman from Rome who had called on her and he wouldn't be the last. She denied his advances at first, going to dinners, private meetings and gifts beyond any measure. Eventually she agreed to his advances. His personality however was slightly endearing at first and until things became more comfortable between them their relationship was rocky at best.
He would open up to her, the hardened warrior finally sharing his personal secrets and turning her into his own personal weakness. A mistake that could have been easily avoided by the pair if perhaps they would have simply just kept it professional. However the announcement of a child between the pair was really the spark that turned their lives into turmoil.THE SHINING STARS OF LEOShe had moved to Rome with the Archangel, living in the capital under the lap of luxury. It had been such a change to her life to suddenly have attendants while the pair began work on conceiving a child. This was the most surprising thing about their relationship. Many had thought that perhaps Michael simply wasn't the sort to have that sort of thing in his life. A loving wife as capable with a blade as he was, when the pair fought against the demons they were an unstoppable force, terrifying in their own right. However there were more than just demons to fear in these nights.
The event itself leaves her with the idea that what she had done that night was right. In the months of Autumn she would give birth to the first child of Michael , Leonidas Saffron would be a beautiful baby boy, their pride and joy and in one way or another a common bond between the struggling relationship. They would remain together for five more years until the incident. An attack in the night, the plot to take the child of the Archangel while he was away on business in the island of Crete. Despite the protective detail awarded to the 'wife' of Michael their son would not be safe here.
From the land of her birth the vampires, so deeply rooted in the region of her home that they to had been able to spread. And from her homeland, the one they had come to fear would stir. Enlisting the help of a traitorous angel would have been simple enough, there seemed to be more and more popping up every day, what he hadn't expected was for the seemingly docile Myriam to strike back against him. She would run the angel who would try to steal her son away from her with her mother's sword. But even then it would cripple their ranks for a time.
Michael, arriving home would be to late, the blood spilled by his wife was his first experience with the corruption. Unsure of what to do with his wife, now finding her body riddled with magic he would eventually decide to separate her from her child, and the final straw of their relationship being that even with her sacrifice for the boy she had been declared an unfit mother. She fled through the summer rains to Venice, through to the alps and back to the lands she'd once called home. Only to find that things had changed, that the lands she thought would wait for her had moved on to.Being a demon now, the price upon her head was something of a strange one. Her relationship with the Archangel Michael made her position a strange one. She was ground no angel would hunt for some time. The subject itself had place Michael in a predicament, and even if they could have found Miryam would she have come back to the Silver Cross willingly after the way he had thought to cast her out. A bit of a grudge perhaps left over from the decision made by her husband some thought. But she would never admit to that sort of thing either way.
What mattered now was her survival. Once the wife of the Archangel Michael and now a 'fugitive' from the brothers and sisters she had long since fought beside. She fled from the streets of Rome, the holy city to her childhood home. Now finding it forever changed by the passage of time. The humans had moved forward while she had lived her life in Rome. Miryam spent some time there, living in what was now known as the city of Paris, encountering demons and angels alike. Those who didn't recognize her were almost as dangerous as those that had. She chose to live a life of obscurity, changing her name from Miryam to that of Marie , hiding herself among the humans. All the while her son grew up without her. She had her own problems to deal with at the time.
In the streets of Venice she found a worse darkness than in the streets of Rome. The water city was where she again discovered her magic, unaware of what she was becoming.THE FRENCH REVOLUTION AND TRAVEL TO THE AMERICA'SThe homeland she had known from long ago was quite different now. Torn apart by the talks of revolutions and the fear of the guillotine she knew she had to leave the country as soon as possible. However doing so now was a dangerous feat to attempt. She had moved out of the frying pan and into the fire. Deciding that the best decisions for her now would be to seek asylum in the human churches she had so despised all these years. She became a nun for almost 20 years living in the obscurity provided by the position. However in 1790 all religious orders within France were dissolved and she was encouraged to take up finding a husband, perhaps leading a quiet life. Though life for Marie would never be quiet.
Every so often there would be those who would come to look for her, stumbling upon the demon by pure accident. She would travel from place to place settling in, moving on and never keeping contact. Time would change, and so would she. The only real person who wouldn't forget her, was Michael.
He would find her in America, some time after their lives had taken such drastic turns. His hair had gone grey, his eyes still full of that familiar twinkle but something about him had changed, as had something about her. When she attacked him he hadn't quite expected it, the moisture in the very air coming to her defense, the anger of all those years ago boiling to the surface. She had almost forgotten the son she had never watched grow, or at least forgotten enough not to be homicidal furious. Even when she was suffocating him with the water in his own body, her eyes black as pitch as she screamed at him, all the emotion, the turmoil of a century pouring out of her into that one moment like the waves.NOW
Now begins the history of a woman who has seen war, devastation and had her child ripped from her arms because even then they thought it was the best possible life her son could be given. She was faithful for a time, to a cause she now neither believes in nor actively participates. She lives her life in a small apartment with a cat, a dog and a Cockatoo rescue. In the town of Bar Harbor Maine where the water and the wind seem to be never ending though the air is crisp and fall becomes rather beautiful.
Despite what people think of her, she had no role to play in the kidnapping of her ex-husband. She seems to not be outwardly distraught by the news however which leads to a finger or to being pointed her way. But she doesn't have time for that now. It's not any of her business where Michael has gone despite her concerns for his safety. They had in a way, reconciled, her son still left in the dark about her existence however. She would never outright tell the angel that she would forgive him, and she didn't have to. In a way, all of this feels like he deserved what he got in the end. Though she doesn't know how to move forward with any of this. Her son is still out there, holding her families blade, but perhaps it would be for the best if he thought she was dead. The First seat of the silver cross, the son of a demon, couldn't be good for anyone.
