It didn't take long for humans to realize that they were greatly outnumbered when it came to defending themselves and their world against the angels and demons. As technology progressed, so did the means to destroy them. A group of humans, picked from the military for their specific skills, were placed in a developmental group to test new, body altering drugs. They were put against regular humans with no particular skills and, shortly after the drugs were administered, it was clear that the regular humans were unable to merge with the drugs. To create these specific drugs, scientists had dug through every religion that mentioned ways to kill the angels and demons. Because of their influence all over the world, humans based their religions on different aspects, creating, essentially, different religions but they were all about one singular reason. Compiling a list, they were able to create drugs that altered a human body enough to be on the same playing field as the angels and demons. Though the drug as been approved and vastly recreated, only certain humans can merge successfully with the drugs and it still baffles scientists. There's a risk signing up for the program but there are still those who merge successfully and have drastically changed the winds of war. CONDITIONS
- For the sake of roleplaying, you don't have to worry about your character not merging with the drugs, if you don't want them to. However, your character must have some kind of endurance background like the military or survivalist. They cannot be just some Joe Black who stood up from the couch one day and decided to be a hunter.
- First administering of the drugs MUST be done before said person turns 30. There has never been a successful first time merge after this age. Your body must be preconditioned to the drugs before that age.
- Male or female, it doesn't matter. Pregnant females are forbidden from taken the drug.
- You can ONLY take ONE of each kind of drug in an hour's time. More than one, whether different or the same, within that hour will kill you immediately. There is no exception to this rule.
TYPES OF DRUGS
- Heightened senses: This drug affects all five senses of the human body; sight, smell, sound, taste and touch. Each sense has been heightened by the top in each animal kingdom. For example, a dog's hearing is ten times stronger than a humans. This attribute has been added to give said human impressive hearing abilities. In some cases, some humans reported being able to see sonar messages and some reported being able to feel Magik being used in an area. This drug does not react the same way for each person but all attributes are heightened for each person.
Weaknesses: With constant use of this drug over time, the human's senses will deteriorate at a higher pace. Blindness, deafness, loss of voice, etc. The more you use this drug, the faster the effects.
- Physical Attributes: Things such as running, jumping, strength, stamina, etc. are heightened, leaving a human feeling a lot like a super hero. Where Angels and Demons can fly, humans, still, cannot. However, humans with a particularly higher jumping skill than others may be able to catch an Angel and Demon while flying. This drug does not react the same way for each person but all attributes are heightened for each person.
Weaknesses: Because this drug boosts a human bodies natural limits, over time, the body begins to wear down quicker often causing paralysis, loss of limb, deformation and death. The more you use this drug, the faster the effects.
- Demon magik: Setting aside the belief that magic doesn't exist, scientists were finally able to grasp the idea that the Magik created by Demons is, in itself, a living thing and, through countless experiments, were able to transfer Demon Magik into a human by the way of drug. However, because human bodies were not created by the Divine Realm to harbor such magiks, it wears off within thirty minutes. But, a human is able to wield the Magik of Demons which has a better chance of killing Angels than anything else. But, like the Angels, Demon Magik corrupts and taken too often, will cause instability and insanity, followed by a painful death.
Weaknesses: Because Magik is a forbidden substance injected straight into the body, it immediately undergoes the corruption process but because humans are not the pure Angel forms, instead of being turned into a demon, a human will first experience instability of both mind and body, followed by insanity and uncontrolled actions before experiencing a very painful death. Use of this drug is very limited and often advised to be used only for emergencies. Once taken, this drug wears off in thirty minutes and another cannot be taken for another half hour. This leaves a person weak and vulnerable.
