Artie needed a break. She hated school. She hated studying and homework. She had to suffer, though. If she didn't, she would lose everything that mattered to her. However, unlike the stipulation for high school, she didn't have to get perfect grades. She just had to finish college and graduate. She wasn't trying to skate by, though. That last thing she wanted was give her parents a reason to get on her ass for slacking. She just had to make sure her grades were decent and she got to reward herself. Today, she chose night of club hopping. Why not? She needed a day of fun and drinking and classes for the next day were canceled due to some convention or something. She never really paid attention to that sort of thing. It just meant she had a full night and day of absolute freedom.
She was just twenty-two and yes a stereotypical rich bitch for the most part. She was blonde and Mommy and Daddy gave her complete access to both of their bank accounts. She was a generic snob, looking down anyone who didn't have the money or status she viewed as acceptable. She wasn't a bimbo though. She was actually quite intelligent. Math and history was definitely some things she enjoyed and she could hold substantial conversations without getting lost. There was always a lot more to her than meets the eyes, but it wasn't something she willingly showed outsiders. She didn't mind people believing she was a spoiled snob with the money to back her up. She loved that side of her life the best.
She reached her first club and settled inside the VIP section. She ordered a Mudslide and drank a couple before she decided to his the dance floor. This was her element. No matter what her parents had her do or what anyone tried to make her do, this was where she felt the most alive. With the shadows and colorful lights paired with her favorite music, she never struggled to forget the part of her world that she hated the most. Ke$ha played and she closed her eyes and danced to the beat, losing herself to the beat.
